About Mayde Tea

Mayde Tea was founded in the creative seaside enclave of Byron Bay, Australia by Naturopath Kate Dalton. After discovering the benefits of tea in her own health journey, Kate now loves sharing her passion for plant-based healing and natural living through her collection of organic teas. She truly believes that nature provides us with the best resources for preserving our health.  Founder Kate Dalton holds a Bachelor of Health Science, with majors in naturopathy and nutrition. She is passionate about all areas of wellbeing, with a key focus on women’s health and digestive and nervous system conditions.

A Sustainable Organic Tea Brand

Each Mayde tea blend is sourced using certified organic herbs that have been harvested in their native habitat where they are known to thrive best, then they are hand-blended in small batches with ingredients that are Naturopath formulated. Free of artificial colors and flavors, Mayde Tea products are stored in environmentally friendly recyclable packaging.  Not only are these teas delicious, they are made by a company that truly cares about the environment and well-being of their customers. Kate strives to make her company as sustainable as possible. We have loved watching her sustainable journey as she leads the way in the organic tea market.

Loose Leaf Tea vs. Tea Bags

Many modern tea bags are known to contain bleach, chemicals, and glue adhesives that may be detrimental to your health. We love the idea of skipping tea bags all together. Mayde Tea offers certified organic loose leaf teas that require an infuser for brewing so you can feel secure in knowing that you are drinking only the highest quality ingredients with no added colors, flavors or chemicals.
